The name says family resort, and here that is not marketing language: there is a separate children’s restaurant with its own meal times, clubs starting from age zero, and eighty-four villas whose doors open straight onto a 3,180 m² pool.

The hotel belongs to the IC Hotels group. It opened in 1995 on a 97,259 m² site, was renovated in 2012 and extended repeatedly up to 2024.

Location

Antalya Airport (AYT) 25 km, Antalya city centre 30 km. Twenty-five kilometres makes it the closest Belek hotel on our list to the airport, and with small children that is a real difference compared with Susesi or Granada.

The beach

On the sea, with a private sandy beach 300 metres long and 43 metres deep. Beach cabanas carry a fee, except for guests in the Selection Villa and King Villa, for whom they are free.

Rooms — 508 units

384 standard rooms at 29 m²; 46 family rooms with two bedrooms and a lounge; 4 Kids Suites at 49 m² with a bunk bed; 15 junior suites at 55 m²; 5 Senior VIP suites with jacuzzi at 54 m²; 2 King VIP suites with jacuzzi at 134 m²; 24 Sun Swim Up Villas at 37 m²; 60 Star Swim Up Villas at 71 m²; 4 Selection Villa VIP at 120 m² with two bedrooms and a private pool; one King Villa VIP at 190 m² with a nanny room and private pool; and 5 adapted rooms.

The swim-up villas are what genuinely sets this hotel apart: 84 units opening onto their own 3,180 m² pool. With children of swimming age the difference from a standard room is large. The King Villa has a dedicated nanny room, a rare detail that matters to families travelling with one.

Board and restaurants

Ultra All Inclusive, summer season 1 April to 15 November. Children’s meals are served half an hour before the adult sittings: breakfast 07:00-10:00, lunch 12:00-14:00 for children and 12:30-14:30 for adults, dinner 18:30-21:00 for children and 19:00-21:30 for adults. There is a late breakfast 10:00-11:00, a night buffet 23:30-01:00 and a quick night buffet 03:00-07:00.

That half-hour offset is a practical detail: you feed the children first, then eat quietly.

Four à la carte restaurants: Olivo (Italian), Umami (Asian and sushi), Ja La Peno (Mexican) and Del Mar (fish). Important: the à la carte restaurants here carry an extra charge, unlike most hotels on our list. Ask us for the current fees before booking.

Alongside them: the main restaurant, a separate children’s restaurant, IC Cafe, the Sunset Snack Bar, a gözleme house, an Ice Cream Box and a Club House for villa guests only. Bars include Pocoloco Disco Bar, a Mixology Bar, the pool bar and the sunset bar. Themed dinner nights rotate: Mexican, fish, Turkish, Asian, Spanish, Italian and international.

Pools and aquapark

The Sun and Star villa pool is 3,180 m² at 140 cm deep; the main pool 1,680 m² at 120-170 cm; the Silence Pool 381 m² at 90-125 cm; a heated indoor pool 252 m² at 150 cm; the Aqua Tower for children 270 m²; children’s pools at 35-40 cm; and an indoor children’s pool.

The aquapark has six slides of 21, 34, 34, 60, 71 and 83 metres, at heights between 7 and 10 metres. It is seasonal and closed from 1 November to 31 March.

Children

The official clubs are Petit Club for ages 0-3, Groovy Kids Club for 4-7 and Prime Kids Club for 13-17. Facilities include CCTV in the club, film screenings, board games, origami, cooking workshops, crafts, an open-air theatre and a video games room. The separate children’s restaurant has its own meal times. A babysitter is available for a fee.

Spa and fitness — Lilium

Turkish bath, sauna, steam room, massage, skin and body care, jacuzzi, relaxation rooms and a beauty salon. The spa is chargeable, with a 20% discount for guests and 50% for honeymooners. The gym is free, as is the heated indoor pool.

Sport and entertainment

Two tennis courts, one tartan and one artificial grass; use is free, lessons and equipment hire are charged. Water sports for a fee: banana, parasailing, jet ski, windsurf and pedalo. Golf: Belek is the golf capital of Turkey and the courses are minutes away; we arrange the booking and the transport.

Shows: a Turkish night, a garden party, live music, karaoke, themed disco nights and music and acrobatic performances in the open-air theatre. On site there is a shopping centre with a boutique, a supermarket, a leather shop, a jeweller, a photographer and a barber, all chargeable, plus electric vehicle charging points.
